Sauvignon Blanc - Armidale 2009

A pale, yet bright straw colour, this appears to be a bold wine on the nose. Passionfruit, ripe Kiwi fruit, and almost floral – Roses. There is that typical Sauvignon Blanc fresh cut grass character that follows – but its still crisp and fresh just like Sugar Snap peas. Apples play on the palate – Red Delicious and are clean, crisp, refreshing. A subtle and delicate yet round and delicious Sauvignon Blanc from our Cool Climate Armidale vineyard. Serve with shellfish or seared scallops. (17/06/09)
